oldpunk78 ops...^ i didn't read that very carefully
if you want to bypass the relay and not worry about the jumper, just put in a toggle and fuse, then:

i would think that all you'd need to do is pull out the oem wires and put in some heavier gauge stuff and solder all the connections possible. that should get the resistance down low enough that melting anything "shouldn't" be a problem. may be even a better ground too.

Safe DRL Foglight Mod

Since there are some concerns about the regular fog-light DRL mod lately, (i.e. burned jumper cables, fail relays, etc - FOR current DRL FOglight mod user LOOK:,

I need a suggestion to do this foglight drl mod safely. I remember someone suggesting a safe workaround. But not sure how.

I live in Canada, hence DRL is mandatory, but I would like to have fog light as my DRL because I'm planning to hook up my Halo lights with the fog lights.

Any suggestion? (No JUmper Cable/Short circuit Relay please)
*I think this is very important for those whose having regular foglight mod drl on their car as well.
