ZX2003 Just got mine done, figured I'd post a pic

This is 6 coats. Hasn't be buffed yet. Still really red is the sun, but I think it gives it a smoked look. Plus I can always go darkeralways go darker later. Great write up tho

IowaSVT Alright i wet sanded the crap out of them and put alot of polish on them and now their ok. But i wet sanded the left side a little too much as you can see more red in the middle of the lens. can i strip the polish off and just do 1 more coat of niteshade on the left side?

IowaSVT Ok, maybe someone can help me. I put 5 coats of nite shade on my tails. I sanded with 800 paper b4 i started. I wated for the last coat to dry, but it was just slightly tacky when i wet sanded them with 1000 to prepare for clear. I sprayed 3 coats of krylon gloss clear with wet sanding inbetween coats. I did not wet sand the final coat as i did not have any rubbing compound or wax. They came out really flat black and looked better b4 the clear!!!! What did i do wrong? Can i fix it with some compound and wax? HELP PLEASE!!
