FocusedSlayer I made it into beta and I have to say that it's freaking sweet . Not to much grinding going on so far but I'm looking forward to the RvR part of it and the city sieges .

I did have some troubles with some server problems but so far everything is going good on the OS I'm using, which is Vista Ultimate 64.

FocusedSlayer I downloaded this game last week and finally got around to playing it last night , I've played WOW for almost a year got boring and quit , Then I tried Conan and with every new patch it got harder and harder for me to play so I finally quit it too.
But this game is more addicting than WOW and the RvR is a lot more fun .

For the Beta I rolled a Dwarf Rune Priest but when everything goes live I'll be rolling a Squig Herder.

FocusedSlayer I've just recently downloaded the beta for this game and now I am getting a "Critical Error -Authentication Failed program will now close."
I'm starting to think it maybe my OS which is Vista Ultimate 64 and the only thing showing up in my games are whatever comes with Vista and World of Warcraft .

Anyone have any suggestions what the problem may be ? I think it's almost the same thing that happened when I tried Conan it took me forever to get that thing working :(.

FocusedSlayer I've been having problems with all kinds of critical errors with this game . Today I went to log on an got a "Critical Error , authentication failed program will now close" .
I'm beginning to wonder if it's the OS I'm using which is Vista Ultimate 64. Only thing showing up in my games are whatever comes with Vista and World of Warcraft .

I think I'm gonna try to run it in Windows 98 mode and see if that helps .

wyattearp1989 I was in the Beta for Warhammer Online. So far its a very fun game. The public quests and RvR is fun and keeps the excitment to the game. Instead of like WOW with the constant grinding and lvling up to lvl 70 and then the real fun stuff begins. As soon as you make your character and hes lvl 1 you still contribute to the war between the other races. You gain Influence by doing Public Quests and use it to get new weapons and armor and depending on how well you helped that Public Quest you will get a loot bag and there is always something in it to use. The crafting is ok they will be adding more to it after launch thats about my only gripe about the game. It runs very smooth even though it was only Beta. Anyone who has ever played Age of Conan will know what I mean that the server lag and the promises that they made and didnt live up to it wont have that problem with WAR. Everything they said about the game in there many videos on there website is true and it is alot of fun. Cant say anything about the graphics yet. Because Beta didnt have any settings but they will at launch. So all in all it is very fun lvling is awsome without the grind and everything I said only scratched the serface of the game.
