I bet he did w/ the grunt of a 460. Hopeful he did the sub frame connectors & changed the rear suspension & beefed up the torque boxes.

People used to call it the Batmobile. I de-chromed the whole car. By 1977, the 460's were choked down quite a bit (single exhaust, emissions,etc.) to 208 hp. BUT, all the torque (356 ft-lbs) was available at 1600 rpms, if I remember. Sometimes if I was going down the highway at 55 mph and the road was wet, like after raining, and I punched it, the tires would spin like I was doing a burnout. Big blocks were torque monsters.
