|CPD Racing||woa, sorry, i completely missed it. really it's just making what the supercharger kit is rated for (i think it was 250hp?) it has never been dyno'd so we don't have any hard numbers to brag about. as the car is, we get a lot of wheel spin in the first three gears, so we arn't so worried about traction as much as handling/reliability/driver skill. even then, mechanically all that happens is we break the occasional axel... on that topic, anybody know who makes good ones???|

hydraulic handbrakes are great for rallying, you still have to use a little muscle on it, but there is no doubt it locks the wheels. for the rally cars we HAVE to run the brake lines inside the car anyway, so installing it is part of runnign the new brake lines.
for a street car i wouldn't reccomend it for a few reasons; 1. you have to a run new brake line (which involves blocking one rear line off so you just have one going through the cylinder, then splitting it again near the rear of the vehicle to go to each caliper) 2. it typically makes it hard to bleed the brakes cus there is a new spot for air bubbles to get trapped in 3. it CAN NOT be used as a parking brake, because fluid WILL slowly slip past the cylinder overtime. a few minutes is fine, but a few hours and your car will roll away.

hmm how do you like the hydraulic handbrake and was it hard to install??
i hate the way the ebrake just cant get the rear wheels to lock no matter how hard you pull on it
