what dealership was this?

I might have missed it in this lengthy thread, but what dealer was this?

When I first read it, I thought of calling the district dealer rep and going to someone at corporate....

I'm curious to know who to avoid in the future.

Thanks.[bootyshak

scalderon just wanted to let you guys know that they did replace it, free of charge. one thing i did find funny was that they were telling how they found other things wrong with it, but not a single word was said about my SRS light being on, anyways thanks to all and a big thanks to Mike (b16...)

scalderon my idea is to ask for the old part, and match old pump numbers to the new ones
06-28-2007 07:38 PM
WeeAsp Just ask for the old parts. That way you don't have to watch.

Things are stressful enough. Stand like a hawk and there will be a lot of resentment and (hopefully not) the next time, they will be even MORE resistant to helping...

jeepinbanditrider Stand there and watch them do the work. Make sure they put a new one in and don't screw you. Policy there is probably that customers aren't allowed in the maint. bay but they usually have a window or other area where you can watch them from.

scalderon I dont have a tune
06-28-2007 06:25 PM
jeepinbanditrider Do you have a tune on your car? If so just reflash it back to stock let them do thier thing with it when they replace the fuel pump and then when you get it back flash'er back to your custom tune.

WeeAsp You shouldn't have to pay a single thin dime...

Dig your heels in on this one.

One thing I've noticed is because we are foci drivers, a lot of dealers somehow feel obligated to either ignore us or really resist warranty actions.
