Mav3rick21 let's revive this thread again! its been a year from the last post! are we still using duplicolor to paint the rims? what kind of paint do we use? I want to paint my HSR Speedy Wheels.. how many cans for all the wheels?

You won't need to sand it to a ridiculous finish, just enough to get the paint to stick onto the metal. They'll turn out just fine if you use enough primer/paint. Plus they are your wheels not like people are going to be scrutinizing your wheels, like your interior, because the paint has a somewhat different finish in some spots.

Executionerhk sanding take the most time because i want to sand them right...

Hey I got your PM sorry I've been off the forum a lot I've been super busy. I would say take a Saturday that you have off, and just go for it all, doing them all at one time makes it a lot easier to just get it done. Start at 8am or something and you'll have them done and dry ready for the car at probably 10pm.

2007ZX3Stick im going to be doing mine soon. i have a set of already painted black svt 5 spokes with alot of scratches and some rash that i just did a few days ago. here is the thread from what they look like now

i will have new pics up im going a different paint scheme to better match the car and do something no one else has (that i have seen)
