Hey everyone just became a focus fanatic

Hey everyone my current daily is a 2002 BMW330CI with a few bolt ons not much. I just recently got a job as a mechanic for a fleet of ford transits, focuses, and big ecoline vans both ford and chevy. I came across a slightly smashed 2013 ford focus se 5 speed for only $1,650! So after doing some research I decided to swap a Ford st engine into my new focus. I bought a complete ford st engine with wiring harness and all for a little bit more than the entire car. The clutch and flywheel needed to get changed due to the previous owner having an ST as his first manual car but the tranny bottled right up and the engine dropped right into the car after it was fixed. Everything is going together pretty good other than a problem with the passager side bearing carrier. So we need to custom fab a bracket for that which isn't to difficult. After I save up enough money I will switch to the ST 6 speed and use the actual ST axles but for now the regular axles will do since I do not plan on putting a lot of power to it until I get the 6 speed with the beefier axles.

So far we got the engine in the car and ran the cooling lines along with some wiring. We ran into a bit of a snag since we are using the 5 speed instead of the 6 speed tranny. We are just custom fabing a bracket for the passenger side axle bearing.

So we custom fabricated a plate that has the 3 original bolts from the carrier bolted down onto the plate. We cut it so we have 4 beefy bolts into the block and also reenforcement on the bottom of the bracket to the block. The way it sits now I can use the focus st axles instead of just the regular focus axles. Now it is time to tackle the cooling and wiring which I bought a Ford focus/st Manuel to help with it. She will be firing up soon =D
