Mysterious ticking noise inside dash

Anyone have this problem? Is this a purge valve issue? I searched the forum for ticking noise, but found nothing to verify the noise.
My car is a 2014 Focus SE, 5-speed with 19K miles, but this problem started about 2K miles ago. I have a high frequency ticking that appears to be coming from behind the center stack. The frequency does not vary, regardless of engine rpm. Depending on ambient temperature, it occurs within the first 5 minutes of driving or within the first 20 minutes. It will cycle on and off over the course of my 40 minute commute. Regardless of the time period of the initial occurrence, the frequency of the ticking never varies. The volume may vary, but the frequency is constant.

Uploaded demonstration video.
1. Note ticking increased as video is moved to center stack on passenger side footwell:

2. In this clip, note that I blip the throttle several times starting at 10seconds, yet the ticking frequency does not change:
https://youtu.be/EX356YLhzww?t=5s
3. Here the ticking occurs while driving. The volume is faint relative to the road noise, but the ticking frequency is the same as all other videos. https://youtu.be/AbW0Omlx-EA
Here are more videos on different days at different temperatures. Note that in all videos the ticking frequency is constant indicating that it's not a resonance issue.

I thought the same thing as well, but the sound is present if the fan is off/on. Air direction or recirc activated does not affect the sound.

It could be the purge valve issue... have you checked if it's louder under the hood?

I appears to be the purge valve issue. While driving today, the sound reappeared. I pulled off, opened the hood and disconnected the electrical connector and the noise went away. The noise came back when I reconnected the connector. No one with the issue has yet confirmed the ticking noise in the videos, but the purge valve is the likely culprit. Now, to get the dealer to fix it...

Only covered under the 3/36 B to B warranty, that's been confirmed before.
