Frustrated with wait time for clutches

Took my 2012 hatchback to my dealer on Dec. 7 for the grinding noise, this was the 5th time. Was going to have them do the 15B22 FSA and to look at the bad shuddering that had started the week before. Got a call a couple days later and said they were ordering new clutches and just to keep the courtesy car till they got it fixed.
Today is Jan. 22 and I am still waiting. Have been in contact a couple of times and was told the wait time is running 6-8 weeks from date of order. They have escalated the parts order as high as they can according to the dealership.
Have bought vehicles from these guys since mid 80's so obviously they keep getting things right or I would not keep returning. I have had a loaner since Dec.7 so that is a big plus and their service always have been very accommodating so this is not directed toward my dealer as they have been very nice and listened to fussing about the delay with a smile.
Anyone else experienced this long of delay. Any customer service reps monitor this forum? C'mon Ford help me out, Please .

I had my clutch work and seals done middle of last February. I booked the appointment November 17th. 6-8 weeks is an improvement. :/

Moved to the MkIII problems section where you can find a similar thread, and the Ford reps. look first for issues.

They're usually Mon. - Fri. so it'll be a bit before they see this.

Actually not Ford but my Ford dealer. Have been doing business with them for 30 yrs. Good people to deal with. Take your car in for service either warranty or your nickel and they will usually have a courtesy car for you if you schedule in advance. Very accommodating.

Clutches showed up yesterday. Got a call this morning that car was ready. YAY!
Picked up car this evening and they had washed it, vacuumed interior and dressed tires. A big thank you to the dealer for starting to install parts as soon as they came in. A tip of the hat to Tricia for getting the ball rolling after I asked for help to try and get the clutches shipped to the dealer.
Car seems entirely different now. Much better shifting, seems quieter also, Not sure why but my wife and I both agree the car has less noise now. Only driven about 15 miles but a thumbs up for now. Time will tell if this finally puts this issue behind us. Have our finger crossed!

These repeated issues sound like the TCM is the one causing the damage to the clutches, not the transmission itself. I think the advertised tune is easier on the trans as it sounds like shifts may not be as smooth, but enhances responsiveness. My question is why can't Ford figure this out?
