2014 Needs new Clutch Pack

I was wondering if I could get some help from the Ford rep or maybe someone who has/is going through this same issue. I went to the dealer to get the TCM updated and they informed me that I needed a new "clutch pack" and that this would take a minimum of a week to get it repaired. They are refusing to give me a rental/loaner vehicle stating that they "have exceeded there budget for loaner vehicles". I am a full time student and also work part time and have a 60+ mile daily commute and can not be without my vehicle for a week. How, if at all, can I get a loaner for this repair? Thanks

Try another dealer?

The job isn't small, so a couple days can be expected. (1-3 range) A full week is more for their convenience IMHO so you should be able to get a better schedule than that working cooperatively with a Dealer to drop it off when they can get to it.

Hi rshust,

When was your visit with your dealer? Please let me know, along with your mileage.
