Remember when Dysan911 figured this one out in January?

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the TSB pictures. Thanks for linking to the thread!

I had my dealership replace the bumpstops completely back in April and they were able to eliminate the sound, glad they finally issued a TSB

I was at the dealer today for a oil change and had them looking for the noise too, and the tech said they couldn't find it. They were ready to send me on my way and say we will try another day and I happen to be looking at this posting and saw there was a new TSB. I showed it to the tech and he took the car back in and 15 minutes later it was all done and the noise is now gone!

I'm so happy now that problem has been Fixed!
I looked at the link to this posting and looked at the video and sure enough it is the same noise!
How I missed this I don't know but it might have something to do with that it is 254 pages long!

Good news. Took it to the dealer today, had them do the TSB, and the noise has been fixed. It's amazing. After 21 months of clunks, it's such a revelation.

Bad news. They destroyed a front tire when they were getting the car on the lift. No worries, they said they would replace it. Drove home from work, noticed a bit of pulling, looked at the tire. They replaced it with a summer tire instead of all-seasons, a completely different looking tread pattern no less, and to add insult to injury, it was installed the wrong way.

Every time I bring my car into the dealer, they screw something up.

Does this tsb really work?

I never had the strut clunk others have had but recently changed out my struts and now at very low speeds over minor bumps , like driveway entrances, i get the clunk. It is not super loud, at least inside the car, but if the radio is off and the car is quiet u can hear it. I see that there is a tsb for this. Does it really work? Thnx

If any of that lube is not readily available this can also be used.
