Car runs totally different. Seems to have done the trick. This is the receipt with part numbers. for what its worth. I have to say the dealer did well. But I give all credit to the Service Advisor John.

I love it. (You must be a "morning person".)

About the guy leaving your car running unattended in a convenience store parking lot -- doesn't that sound like a recipe for getting it stolen? I wonder if it would have been easier for them to get their insurance to pay for a replacement than to get Ford to pay them to fix yours? Thirty minutes and no takers. Are the car thieves onto something?

Great news that you were correct about that. They were also probably on their toes to make sure no new problems were introduced in the process after seeing your video. (My worst fear, based on experience, when letting anyone else work on my car -- especially at a dealer service department.) Here's hoping the fix is permanent.

For the incident with the tech having a "pit stop" they apologized profusely and offered me 3 yr 45,000 maintenance plan. I declined the 3 yr ESP premium coverage. I have 36,000 bumper to bumper another 12,000 not going to help once I hit 3 years. I do not drive that often. I have other vehicles.

Ok it has been a week. I will give it a month so the adaptive learning will adjust, hopefully. The car is now ratcheting loudly again and bogged down again on acceleration on more than one occasion. The first couple days it ran so smooth and no ratcheting no bogging. The feeling it was about to stall whenever you slowed down is gone though.
