Good luck. Don't demand and make them feel good for helping you and they will do all they can. If they need to send picture to ford for approval you could ask to see them.

It's all with the seals. The new ones are a bright orange instead of the original brown. This is for added leak visibility and to promote the use of the new material seals over the old ones.

I would also request the "touch clutch measurement" test. From what I was told, this is a new individual test that can be done to greater increase the response of the clutch. This specific test is what believe to have increased the drivability of my car the most. Obviously the new clutches would have helped because the old ones were contaminated BECAUSE of the faulty original seals. But this test is specific to each car, enabling the mass produced parts to perform better.

Also ask about the clutch pack revision model. They should be on revision D (this is what I received)

My dealership was a little iffy on being honest. But my technician has been up front as I could have ever asked. Get an early appointment and bring a big bag of McDonalds sausage biscuits. It worked for me.

Thanks for the heads-up. Do you think this is what they did?

That's exactly what they did. The technician was very up front about it, he said I was the first recipient of the test. I've since let him know that the car is a dream and performs better than I would have thought. The DCT is very fun to drive.. I almost got to 60 in 2nd today. :-D

Its not just the seals...our seals are fine but throwout bearing and clutches were still bad. Was fixed for two weeks and grind is back.

The car performs exactly like you want it to. Roll the accelerator, holds gear until redline shift. Drop the throttle, stomp to 40%, it downshifts, roll accelerator, redline shift. If you stomp to about 60-70% I've gotten a few successful 2 downshift and I dont ever remember being able to do this in a conventional AT.

I'm really glad you were able to get that handled, Marine. I remember reading your posts around the forum.

that depends on which thread you read, even today. (but I agree)
