Question Dash Cam and Radar power options

Hey guys,

I've been looking around on the forum to see what options I have for a project upcoming. I have a escort x50 that I want to mount and a cheap dash cam as well. Ideally I'd like to wire them both around the same place (thinking top where the tint strip is) and run the wires through the A pillar and through the top section? Wondering what is the best way to do this? I know likely a fuse tap for the radar but I have no clue how to get power to the mini usb end I would need to power the dash cam.

Thoughts?

Yes that will be the way to run the wire. A pillar going to the passenger side because the fuse box is above your passenger feet.

Then use a "add a circuit" fuse thingie and wire the camera and dectector onto that wire. Ground it on one of the bolts by the fuse box. I think you use fuse #87 or maybe its fuse #86 but please "google" and make sure im right on the fuse.

I believe there is an air bag in the a pillar so be careful how you route and poke.

Now my issue with the focus is on some cars the rear view mirror sits way to low and blocks some of the road view.

here is my car and setup:

Seen here is:
Dash Camera, 2way remote start antenna and Dash camera GPS module shown

Hard wire kit brought separate.
