Center console 12 volt removal

Anyone know if the 12 volt plug can be popped out? I'd like to pop it out and push it down then find a way to flush mount this phone charger. It drives me nuts sticking up like this. Ignore the nasty gunk please, I need a deep clean.

Easy. Whole assembly with heated seats controls pops out. And from there you will figure it out how to remove the 12v socket. But if I remember correctly, it gets a 12v allways. Ignition on/off it does not matter

^^^ could be a useful option, the plug ins DO vary in output levels though so you need one to handle your usual loads.

Can I pop it out from the top or do I need to take the whole dash apart?

I like the one I have because its Quick Charge 2.0 compatible, none of the flush ones do it. I want the door to close over it too, I dont think it would even with one of the slim ones.

The charger has a circuitry in it to charge at a much faster rate then normal chargers. https://youtu.be/Ut6lemu_N64
Thanks for the suggestion but I need Quick Charge.

You could also remove the circuitry from the case and integrate it into the console (hidden in the arm rest box).

You wouldn't have to mess with the acc. 12v plug and it will be free for something else...
