Swap headlight switches?

I am wondering if anyone know if you swap out the headlight switches. Mine just has a button for the fogs

and I am wondering if you can swap out with one that has a trunk release button included.

I know that on some cars you can add the fog light switch because it could be presided for fogs.

However I don't think it would work with the trunk switch.
Some cars were wires with fogs because some cars came with dogs, but in 2012 no cars had the trunk release by the lights so the wiring might not be there.

But that light switch is fairly inexpensive.

I can't imagine they would make a wiring change...I'm sure the wires are already there, just needs the switch.
Please keep us posted, I'd like to do this to mine as well.

I'm going to start looking in the scrap yards to find one for cheap. Once I'm able to find one I will update.

The wires have to lead to something to open the trunk.
There is more to this than just wires and the headlight/fog/trunk switch.
