squeak and rattle finder

Ive looked numerous places and just cant seem to find a guide that was posted on here a while back which showed a bunch of the spots where the squeaks and vibrations come from and how to fix them. If anyone knows where to direct me to, that was be the bees knees. thanks

Everything inside my car lol. Both doors/ up near the base of the windshield of the driver side. Something in my speedometer area and also something around where my shifter is. Just alot of little rattles on the interior and i know someone linked something before showing circled spots throughout the interior of the car and what to do to fix it.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I have no idea where it's at lol. I think the thread was called squeaks creeks and rattles or something like that.

Felt backed tape is a good solution for a lot of the rattles. I'm still hunting one down in my passenger side door. Do you happen to have pictures of what locations are rattling specifically? I may be able to help with some of them.

I'm rather familiar with door panels and the center console.

just bring up a stock photo of the interior of a mk3 focus....those spots lol. the main ones that annoy me are at the bottom of my door panels. Im guessing i need to shim something between the plastic and the metal underneath the door. It was just a really good guide.

Lol, there's 5 screws and a ton of plastic clips. Felt tape shim should help. If not that, then you may need to remove the door panels and felt tape or rubber butyl things down.

Hi guys,

If you decide to head to your dealer to work on silencing those rattles, please let me know. I can check out some options.

Also, ChalupaJones, I love your literal "bee's knees" photo.
