ProClip mobile device holder - anyone use?

I purchased a ProClip 854620 clip to hold a mobile device. The clip appears to be made specifically for the Mk3 Focus. The lower part of the clip fits between the silver bezel and the extended black hidden vents, but no way that clip is going in there. Top part of the clip easily catches the lower lip of the vent bezel.

Anyone else ever try this clip?

Many people have the pro clip mount. And overall they seem to be pretty happy with them. Personally nothing beats the Kuda Base Mount.

KUDA OEM leather iPhone GPS Mount for FORD FOCUS (since 2012) black

A little pricy but worth it.

Also here is the quintessential cell phone mount thread for the MK3.

I've got the mirror image of that ProClip mount, the one that clips below the vent on the left side of the center console.

I had no difficulty installing it, and it hasn't budged a millimeter since I installed it. Very happy with the purchase.

Yeah, once I got the sharp left edge started at quite an angle, the rest of it seated as I rotated the clip. It is very solid once in place.

For those considering ProClip: On the phone mount side, I have used both one customized for my phone and a "universal" one, and from my experience, the universal mounts work much better.

At least in my case the custom mount (for a Galaxy Nexus) was so snug, it took some work and two hands to pull the phone in and out. Using a universal mount for my new phone (Moto G), the phone rests securely in the mount, but it also lifts right out without any wrestling, and extraction can be done with one hand.
