60/40 rear bench

When I bought my 2013 SE sedan I did not purchase the option with the 60/40 split rear seat back. If I recall the option that included that was pretty expensive and was filled with other things I did not want. Of course my seat back folds forward, but you have to do the whole thing thus no one can sit back there when it is down.

If I was able to find a split rear seat back would it bolt right in? Would I need to do the seat bottom too? Do any brackets or latches need to be added in order to make this work?

Is it available for the Sedan body? I did think it was a hatchback option only

yes the sedans also came with the 60/40 option. I believe you could get it in cloth or leather with the leather having the built in armrest. Trying to see if you can even put that in a car with just the bench seat since its one piece instead of 2 like the 60/40.

Did the original posters change out their bench to split seat? I went to ford but he could not tell by the parts diagram if this was possible. He also cited safety modifications to the seating.

I've done it, but you'll need part number CV6Z5860615B. It's the center mounting bracket.

The rear seat I have is from an ST so it fold forward. There are four brackets on the bottom portion to mount the seats. The bolt holes are under the carpet, however they aren't threaded. You'll need a 5/16 tap. I used M8 Allen head bolts that are black.

If you need pictures let me know.
