New Dash Kit

So unfortunately the SE model I have didn't come with a gps or touchscreen or anything fancy like that, but while I was surfing the interweb I stumbled upon this and was very happy/excited but wasn't sure if it was legit anyone know anything about it.

http://www.carid.com/2012-ford-focus...t-4479681.html

and does this mean I can get another aftermarket headunit with like GPS etc. to go in the bottom???

that is correct, that will allow you to install any aftermarket unit.

Look around a little there are a bunch of guys that have done this.

But with those you can't buy a different head unit. For all we know that chinese one my have 1v outputs instead of something great for sound quality like 5v.

I'd be getting the 80PRS headunit and an equalizer to fill up the second din space.

You can run active on the 80prs instead of just passive

I don't know much about audio but before I even had that headunit, I just had 2 10s hooked up to my stock stereo, the day I put the headunit in, the sound quality was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better then stock. Now like I said I don't know much about audio but I went to this drive in theater with my girl and my car felt like sitting in a movie theater lol

This is what I'm going to put in my focus:

YouTube Video

Relatively inexpensive too. probably around $2500 for the whole install.

Well, it can tbh.

4 XFL 15s = 900
Wood = 500
Amp(AQ3500) = 800
Wires = 350?
270a Alternator = 600 for the focus

Then of course I have to do my front stage
2 sets of Beyma mids = 700
metra dash kit with wires = 200
80prs head unit = 250
front stage amp = 300

So for a proper build, it'll be about 5k.

I have one of the XFL 12s and it hits hard and low.

This is an older video I have:

I have more flex than that now... also I have new components so don't mind my ghetto highs :p
