Trip Computer Screen

Is it possible to change out the Trip computer screen in the 2012 SE for the Titanium one?

If you are talking about this:
How has there not been a Hyundai like lawsuit against Ford for the fuel economy of this vehicle?-uploadfromtaptalk1368301173079.jpg
then I can tell you that it isn't a "Titanium" option but just something that you get if you get a 2013 "job 2" Focus. My 2013 "job 1" Titanium doesn't have it. I really would like that screen as well but so far it looks like we are stuck with what we have.

I'm a bit miffed. Didn't know about the Job1/2 thing and purchased by 2013 Ti in April. After reading about it, I assumed it was a Job 2, but it's build date was apparently 10/12. :(

I'm not sure if anyone has tried this yet, but this TSB:

6277 - 2012-2013 Focus - Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Inoperative at Start-Up - Built On Or Before 2/6/2013
See TSB: 13-06-27 for details. 13-06-27

Refers to the screen on the dash. Ford doesn't have to verify that it sometimes doesn't start up, you can just tell them you have been having problems with it and they will re-flash it.

Not sure if they flash it with the old software, or it gets the new one with the quad display.

Thanks for posting this TSB. I was going to give my dealer a call and ask them about getting a flash to the newest software. Knowing this should make it easier to explain what I'm after. Also I have a TSB to fall back on.

Just go in and tell them you are having problems with the display not turning on sometimes. And have them flash it according to the TSB. See what happens and let us know.

Some posters have said Ford will not flash the new display to older cars, but if you "have" to get it flashed, maybe it would be a different story.

Fair enough. I will try that out first. I'll post back my results when I have some. I will be able to call my dealer tomorrow, but I won't be able to take it in for service until the weekend. It will be a few days before I can report back.

Sounds good, I have a few things I need the dealer to take care of as well, but they are not major so I probably won't be going in for another 2 weeks or so depending on work. But if the TSB flash gives you quad display, I'll need to have them do this as well.
