Want to replace dash/MFT, need help!

I have a the MFT and sony audio and im absolutely sick of the MFT, it never works properly and both microsoft and ford offer no help. Is there a good way to either replace the dash so i can install my own head unit (i want to use the pioneer avic-z150BH), or take the stock head unit out and make the pioneer fit/plug in properly? If anyone can offer options i would be so grateful. Thanks.

I don't know anyone who has used this... but this would be my best guess

http://www.carid.com/2012-ford-focus...t-4479681.html

Not sure how this works with the MFT radio though... Kit seems to be working for base radio or 203a packages (sync w/o MFT)

Not sure if you can get a screen from a lower trim model to make it work.

Seems like a lot of damn hassle to change.

Thanks for the advice, i was actually just on the phone with metra and they said they cant help, i think my only option is trying to fit the pioneer in place of the current head unit and trying to wire properly

What about the stock sony stereo fitted to canadian and european models. Hasn't got Sirius of HD Radio but the FM and AM would work fine.

I have the chinese au ordered from Ottonavi and paid a little bit more then eBay because they offered a one year warranty. I've had it for 5 months now and absolutely love it!
