custom seat covers

Ive got the cloth seats in my focus and would really like to get leather. Does anyone have any experience buying them for this car, ive had some trouble finding a company that has the seat pattern. Katskinz does and makes very high quality covers but theyre also very expensive.

Try this company, I have seen some of their products and I was suprised at the quality of the product for the price. If I didn't have leather, and didn't want to pay the price for Katskinz, I would purchase these in a heartbeat.

i'm thinking of getting those Clazzio seat covers.

I think i'm def going leather. just wondering if i should have black inserts or ivory inserts.

I've been a fan of the arctic white package for the focus, but since I got my '12 used, my options were limited.

i could probably also get blue if I was feeling a bit more daring. it would match the displays' colors and also the ambient lighting.

The black insert is the safest as it 100% matches the interior. But I think it's boring as most leather seats would probably come that way. It would look elegant though.

the interior of my focus is charcoal grey and the exterior is oxford white.

I just got samples from them last night, the materials seemed good. Mines in Oxford white too with grey and tan interior so im thinking of just keeping the same. Id like to do something daring like grey with yellow inserts but I'm not sure how that's going to effect resale

They're seat covers...just take them off before selling or include them in the sale as an extra. Or sell them to someone on a site like this.

Did you search? It was just a few posts below this one.

Heated Seat Install How-To

I still don't quite recommend wiring it in without adding a fuse inline.

I use to have an 06 civic that I bought with dealer added leather heated seats by Katskin. When the heated seats stopped working, the dealer wouldn't honor the warranty for the heating element which was different from the one for the leather. It had to be serviced by a 3rd party. Plus by that time the warranty ran out and wasn't worth the cost of fixing. 900 dollars for 3yrs of use and the leather didn't hold up like I'd liked it to.

It's probably still worth looking into if your educate yourself on warranties and or handy.
