2016 Aftermarket Headlights

I purchased these aftermarket headlights on eBay to correct a retrofit gone bad. The ad states that the lights feature the same LED DRL as factory but that's not entirely the case. This is how the lights work:

Light Switch on Auto- No DRL

Light Switch on Off- No DRL

Light Switch on Parking Light- DRL

Light Switch On On- DRL

Door Open- DRL

Remote Start- DRL

So, does anyone know if there is a simple way I can get the DRL to function as OEM which is always on? Would be as simple as tapping the hot wire of the DRL from the OEM harness to the hot wire of the DRL inside the light?

Do you have more pictures of the light itself on your focus?

Id sure love to see some output shots against a wall to see how the cutoff looks. What kind of HID bulb does it use? I keep seeing these similar style headlights on ebay and they all claim to be HID/Xenon and Im just curious about some more information about them. Some cutoff pics and output shots would be nice to see, also for potential buyers who want to see how these look, thanks!

They come with D2r bulds, ballast, and bulb fault cancelers. They are also Bi-xenon. The lights appear to be made well but be aware, they are made in China and one of mine arrived essembled improperly. The seller is arranging to have a new one sent to me. So it's about a 50-50 chance you will get a good set or maybe not. Also a couple of reports from others showed condensation build up on the inside of the lights and I have seen that with these as well. I may have gotten that figured out though. The seller I bought them from on eBay is Genie-Shop and cutoff pics are below. Now can we please keep this thread on topic however. Can anyone give me advice on my original request.

These are the pics of the defective light as it arrived to me. I was able to slightly repair that issue while I wait on a replacement.

I have similar headlights for a focus 13, I got used to switching the parking lights on during the day and setting it to auto at night. They won't really work like true DRL's but its nice having them on during the day.

When I bought my ST headlights back in the day for my 12 SEs from the sonic guys on here, there was a seperate wire for the DRLs that you just had toslightly modify to fit into any open 13 amp fuse in the engine bay
