what to do?.. what to do??

So, just purchased my 2015 Focus se sport hatch magnetic grey last weekend (love the car!) and just wanted peoples opinions on what the first thing I should do to my car? (besides selling it and getting an st or rs) should I go towards performance? or looks? I've read many things about sct tune along with air intake and i'm kinda leaning that way but just want opinions. Also if you do suggest an air intake does anyone know of any that are Carb california legal? I was thinking about using a RS air intake if I couldn't find a Carb legal intake.

I know the K&N Intakes are Carb legal.

Personally, I would say drive it around for a few weeks and see what you want to do. Many performance mods will also impact looks (like coilovers)

I've got an MK3 as well, and I started with some basic looks upgrades, and now I'm doing suspension and some engine bits.

I looked into coilovers as well. I know one of the major things ive read about was the rear motor mount and ether putting an aftermarket one on or using the focus electrics motor mount

I know they updated the RMM for the 15 ST to come with the Focus Electric mount, but not sure about the SE. I did the conversion as well on my car, and it's super easy to do and was a notable change in response from stop to first. No real impact to NVH in the cabin which was awesome. Tasca Ford has the part for $56 shipped which is hard to argue with!

nice ill look into that thank you! and this is going to be a horrible question to ask because people will read this and tell me that i should of just bought an st but is there a turbo kit for the car? or is there a way to put the st turbo or another model turbo onto the car? im just curious, I obviously cant afford that right now but just was floating around in my head.

I'd say it depends on how hardcore you want to go. Some good basic mods that make a big difference would be a drop in high flow air filter or full intake, rear motor mount, cat-back exhaust, and definitely a tune. If you want to go more hardcore, a header, driver side motor mount and passenger side motor mount are good upgrades but there add a lot of noise and vibrations. Rear sway bar is really good upgrade too.

If i had to start from scratch i'd say do the rear motor mount, high flow air filter and a tune. then go from there.

Drop, wheels, tint, intake, led interior bulbs, oem plus upgrades. Like others said what do you want to do/get out of the car depends on the mods and money you have to spend.

IMO, because of CARB, i would just stick to appearance or handling mods. leave power alone.

Steeda rear sway bar 120℅, best mod ive done for a low cost too.tightens up the rear suspension just enough and the difference is immediately felt the first time you turn out of your driveway after. Besides that ive got a rmm, intake, upgrade your plugs, do the snorkel delete and youre golden. Getting an St exhaust put on tomorrow so thatll be nice. Seriously though thats what ive done, nice difference from stock, fun to drive, but do whatever you like thats what its all about

Has there been any proven gains from different plugs?
