Clock loses time

The clock on my 2012 Focus (SYNC, non-touch) display seems to lose time rather quickly. It's about a minute every week or two which seems pretty inaccurate to me. Furthermore, I don't understand why it couldn't sync up with the time on my phone every time it connects via Bluetooth.

Anyone else have similar issues?

Thinking I remember seeing a reflash of the APIM to address that. It may have been in an SSM or TSB

My 2014 focus has that problem, I just keep resetting the clock about every other week.

What you need is to get old and retire!
I could care less if my car clock is 6 hours off!
I have no "have to be at xyz by abc O'Clock!"
And what day IS it ..anyway?

I watch folks racing to get someplace... Gee I can remember in the mists of time being like that. Not anymore.
The only reason I go fast is to have fun.

Mine was losing time, at some point my battery died, and when I replaced it, clock remained accurate.

Coincidence? Could be, but with the new batt, life was "on time"....

I was thinking it was my battery for my time loss but had it checked and is was about half way down but still in the green so my local dealership said I didn't need to replace the battery.
