The whole driver side door switch? Even though it's just the driver side window that won't go down? Thanks

Mine's a '12 SE 5-sp, 80k miles, literally nothing but gas and oil.

I did get a recall notice on a door switch or latch recently, but as mine's never had the problem noted in the notice, not too concerned.

Can't speak to the nifty gizzmos and upgrading them, as again, mine is just an SE, but 80k miles and nothing but gas and oil is hard to beat with anything.

Transmission and depending on miles the stock shocks are terrible and will go quickly. You can hear them if they are bad going up and over speed bump as slow speed.

^^^must be your roads, if you live somewhere with bad roads, your control arms and shocks will wear quicker..I know a guy with 140,000km on stock shocks, still good...2013

I have a 2012 sel, had the transmission control module replaced, under extended warranty. Transmission is the main issue but had mine re flashed, seems fine for the most part. Recently had the fuel pump replaced due to stalling. Also had the o2 sensor and cat replaced. Partially my fault for the cat since I did not replace the 02 sensor immediately. Since ,12 was first year I would probably go '13 or newer.

I have a trouble free 5 speed but I do only have 32,000 miles on it and it was built in April 2012 and it's been a great car to date.

The updates don't unclude the driver screen update as that is a different system from the free updates. I claimed mine driver's screen was having trouble booting and got it updated to the 4 screen version under the warranty.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I am pretty sure I'm going to get one, I have one picked out. It's a 2012 SEL 5spd w/Nav and Leather. The front bumper is cracked but the dealer said they will replace it for me. It will come with 2 sets of tires. It has 105,000kms on it and the lady who owned it took great care of it. I will ask the dealer to include weathertec mats and paint touchups on rock chips, and I will definitely buy it. For $8,900CAD it's not so bad. Since it's out of warranty, I called a local Ford dealer and they said the TSB for the gauge cluster would be covered, but since I'm not, I'll have to pay $65 to have the software updated and reflashed, then I'll be able to have my 4 quadrants for the trip computer(worth it to me). Ford still offers free updates for MFT with SyncMyRide?
