New Here, need a little help with my 2016 Focus Sedan S

As title states, I have a 2016 Sedan S, for the Radio and the cluster display screen there is options for Temperature. Although, I have not found out how to display the temp on either one of the screens. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I also have a 2016 Ford focus S. I believe they took it off for the "S" class. The SE and higher end has it

Edit: It seems like 2013-2016 doesn't have it. http://ford.oemdtc.com/2020/outside-...6-ford-focus-s

Alright, cool, at least I can set Fahrenheit if I ever want to pretend I have that feature.

There's other stuff that I wish the car had. The ones that bug me is that there is no cruise control, and the rear seats don't have power window.

You guys bought bottom of the barrel S trim Foci econoboxes. If you want special features you need to step up in trim levels and pay for them.

Just buy the required parts off of ebay (like the steering wheel with cruise switch) and enable the feature in the computer using FoCCCus. I added the following to a 2012 S:

Optional cluster with trip computer and EcoScout (not available on the S)
Hill Start Assist (5 speed) (supposed to be not possible on the S)
MyKey (again not supposed to be possible on an S)
Ability to disable traction control
Factory Cruise Control (again not supposed to be possible on the S according to dealers).

Parts needed, Steering wheel with cruise switch (50 bucks from ebay)
Guage cluster with 4 inch LCD screen (55 bucks off of ebay)
Airbag with control switches (125.00 off ebay)

All plug and play, took about 45 minutes total approx to swap out the stuff. Then connect your computer to a laptop using an OBDLink MX OBD adapter, and use FoCCCus to enable the options. I also used it to recalibrate my speedometer for the 17" black painted aluminum wheels from certain versions of the SE and Optional on the Titanium so it would read correctly.

See this thread for more info... Add steering wheel instrument controls to focus S? (adds T/C switch!) and factory Cruise.

I know what I purchased. The temperature option was there so I thought I'd ask.

Yeah, I've been trying to find the ambient air temperature number. I'm sure I can add it, I'm just too lazy to do it right. Not in my priority list right now.

I'm pretty sure it's this one, but not 100%.

Awesome! thanks for the info. I am going to get a steering wheel with the cruise control for sure, the rear windows being manual doesn't bother me at all it's literally just the cruise control that I really want... any maybe turn signal mirrors :)

The heated mirrors are one of the things on my "to do when i get more ambition" list. Don't really need the turn signal thingees but, the good news is the mirrors are cheap enough and the wiring should already be there for the most part.. (if not just tap in to the turn signal wiring for the respective side off of the BCM harness behind the glove box... (same for heated mirrors, just tap in to the rear defog wiring)..

If your serious about upgrading your S to have higher level trim features, it can be done, and in most cases relatively inexpensively, especially if you tackle it a job at a time as funds and time to do it allow. A MUST have if you plan to do this kinda stuff tho is the Ford Factory service manual (particularly the wiring diagrams) There are links to download it on the forum here but ya gotta hunt for them. They are a god send when you start to "tinker". An OBDLink MX bluetooth adapter, and the FoCCCus program are all needed.. The OBD link adapter is very reasonably priced and works very well. Some things like the auto up/down windows on the S are a bit more of a pain and expense than is worth it.. but most of the upgrades are for the most part plug and play and enable the feature in the BCM.

Its very easy to add options to convert your S to a well loaded SE. And the nice thing about starting with the S is you can add just the options you want instead of having to be spoon fed a ton of stuff you may not want just to get one or 2 features you really want.
