Thanks to all

While I have rarely commented on many posts, I am an avid lurker checking in on the forums multiple times a day.

I just wanted to say thanks to all for the friendliness and help that this engaged groups gives to one another.

Last night I traded in my 2013 Focus SE (DCT) (almost no extras) it had 60,000 miles and I never had any transmission issues thankfully and it was always a great peppy drive but with the family growing it was a bit small and unfortunately 3 car seats just cant fit in the back.

Traded it in for a 2017 Fusion SE AWD 2.0 with the SE luxury package as well as technology package (I had to have sync 3 for Android Auto).

Actually went in with the wife as the lease on her Escape is ending and she wanted to test drive a Flex and Explorer and we landed up replacing the Focus (my car) which we owned - still got to go back in 2 weeks to figure out her car...

While the dealer did not offer me much for the Focus and dinged a bit of the offer price because it needed new tires too, I was very happy with the package and pricing I received on the Fusion - the salesman is family so I believe she advocated for me as best as she could.

As much flak as people give the Focus it really is a great car and I never had any issues from the engine nor transmission and it handled pretty well (my POV) in snow especially the last 3 years which were a bit heavy in Michigan.

Back on topic now - thanks all and hope everyone keeps well.
