Wiper refills? (Australia)

Wiper refills are a quarter of the cost of new wipers from the dealer.
What size and length is the rubber in them?
The rubber slides in and out easily so didn't see the point in replacing the whole wiper.

Thanks.

Refills only work with blades designed to use them, some take odd refills while others don't have them avail. at all.

IMHO you'll have to look close at the ones used on your car and compare them to refills avail., assuming the Dealer doesn't have "official" ones to fit.

ok, they looked pretty standard to me but didn't take them fully out when I did it last week. Might take it all the way out and measure.
Was wondering if anyone here had done it before.
There's some annoying plastic ends on mine that do come off, something tells me they're not supposed to and that it's made that way so that people just buy complete blades...

Aftermarket doesn't always keep up with new OEM styles quickly.

Rear wipers are often oddballs and on this car the fronts are also unusual with left & right separate types (reversed aero & fit). Just enough off in front that even with generic wipers that don't have a direction some mention needing a reset of the wiper position so they don't hit the body.

OP's also in Australia so only our members from there would know for sure what he's looking at. (Added that to the thread title to catch attention)

The Motorcraft blades seem to be the best way to go for many of us. I'm getting 30,000 miles per set of blades which is astounding for somebody with OCD.

Just ended up buying the drivers side wiper that I needed from the Parts shop. AUD$21, pretty good.
