Official Drum to Disc Conversion Part List

Since they are few guides how to do the rear drums to disc conversion threads but nobody talks about the precise dealer parts required to do the whole job I will publish the list here.

First thing check out the guide made by Spinner here -->> http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/m...onversion.html

and there's another one made by SPRAYPAINT here -->Mk3 rear drum to disc brake conversion

Thanks guys to share your knowledge

Rear conversion parts:
  • 2x REAR DISC ROTORS -> #BRRF252
  • 1x LH REAR DISC CALIPER -> #BRCF352
  • 1x RH REAR DISC CALIPER -> #BRCF353
  • 1x EMERGENCY BRAKE CABLE WITH DISC -> #BRCA58
  • 2x REAR CALIPER SLIDING PIN KIT -> #BKCF2
  • 2x REAR FLEXIBLE BRAKE HOSE WITH DISC ->#AV6Z2282A
  • 2x REAR CALIPER MOUNTING BRACKET -> #CV6Z2B582A
  • 2x REAR CALIPER SPRING CLIP -> #CV6Z2A225A
  • 4x REAR CALIPER MOUNTING BOLTS -> #W700684S442

For the pads (did both front and rear), i've use the following parts:
  • 1x HAWKS HPS CERAMIC PADS FRONT -> #HB519 F.682
  • 1x HAWKS HPS CERAMIC PADS REAR -> #HB478 F.605

Extras Parts not needed for the conversion but might have to change if damaged :
  • 2x FRONT DISC ROTORS -> #BRRF320
  • 2x REAR HUBS WITH ABS SENSOR -> #HUB246
  • 8x E14 TORX HUB BOLTS -> #W715064S442

if your front calipers are rusted here's the brake bleeder nipple part if you plan to flush the fluid while doing the rear conversion.
  • 2x FRONT CALIPER BLEEDER -> #BKBF9

Well every parts you see there is tested by me and double checked

Total OEM conversion price (not aftermarket): ~1000$ CDN or 767$ USD.

So I have to ask, wouldn't this kit be easier to pick up?

https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-2300-WR

It looks to me like the only thing missing is the new emergency brake cable

Didn't mean any disrespect!

Meant it more as a knowledge point for any new people looking to do this swap.

Says it fits the ST, and I know the rear is slightly different between ST/non-ST, anything in the braking system or hub set-up that would be different?

It would fit the ST rear, but if you watch the video, it would only be a cosmetic update for the ST as the caliper is the same size. So there's no real benefit to you if you already have the ST brakes.

ST rear brake is the same as mk3 rear. Except that it is red coated.
