I can only choose one of these upgrades to my 2013 S, which would give me the biggest improvement?

Hi everyone,

Tax return came back, and as always I set aside 20% to do whatever I want with. So I'm deciding to do some upgrades to my new (well, for me) Focus.

It's a standard 2013 Focus S, no bells or whistles. My options:

1) Install a new steering wheel with cruise control + Radio buttons
2) Window tint (35 back, 25 front)
3) Install leather arm-rest with two outputs
4) Better tires + tune

Things I'll do regardless:

1) Put in shinier A/C knobs
2) Reprogam a switchblade key

What do you guys think? I have all of them on my to-do, but I'd rather get one at a time.

Personally, I'd lean towards the Cruise, or tinted windows. UNLESS you're thinking tires, because your tires are in poor shape.

1) Install a new steering wheel with cruise control + Radio buttons

Just remember the airbag is extremely dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.

2) Window tint (35 back, 25 front)

Go for it

3) Install leather arm-rest with two outputs

Fine

4) Better tires + tune

A tune will run you over $400. You can gain up to 8 hp by simply doing a snorkel delete/K&N filter for about 50 bucks.

Shameless plug ---> Official Genuine Cruise Control Update...

But I agree with wavsine, if ain't your cup of tea don't do it !

IMO, CC install is the best upgrade if you do long distance!

I still wanna do the rear sway bar mod. It's only $125 from Steeda or $195 from jbr. If you're dead set on those though. Do the tune. The tq/throttle response sucks in the mk3
