Question about Fog Lights

I just bought and plan on installing some new fog lights to replace my OEM ones.

2012 2013 2014 Ford Focus Xenon Halogen Fog Lamps Driving Light Lights Kit MK3 | eBay

That's the item I bought. It comes with its own wiring harness, switch, etc, although it does say that it can be hooked up to the factory switch.

I have a feeling the answer is no, but would I be able to just keep the factory wiring and simply replace the old fog lights with the new ones, or do I have to actually redo all the wiring and whatnot? It's not really a problem if I need to, but if I don't, it saves time and effort.

if you already have fog lights, then you should be able to just plug them into the factory wiring. The only problem is that if your putting HID fog lights in then they will burn out quick due to being turned on and off repeatedly switching between high and low beam

Purchased my kit HID. Came with bulbs ballast. Plug and play. As stated just a bulb will burn out.

Just return them! Your OEM are going to outperform these, I promise.

Look into Ford 3" XB LED.

Later that day, I found those and decided they were more what I was looking for. Thanks!
