Sony 10 speaker audio in 2016 Focus

Like to hear from anyone who has a 2016 Focus Titanium with the 10 Speaker Sony Audio installed. How is the sound quality and volume, and user interface? Thanks

I assume it is the same as the ten speaker in my car. Sounds great in this little car!

Don't know...I have read where improvements have been made to the Sony system since its introduction. That's why I wanted to hear from anyone who has the latest model.

Are you driving a 2012 SEL??? What type of fader control comes with the system?

I don't have the Sony system but I can tell you the interface is SYNC 3, the BlackBerry-based interface, MUCH better then the old MyFord Touch that was buggy as hell.

Ford website says 390 watts for the new focus. Mine says 355 watts. The fusion has a 390 watt version so maybe they took some of that platform and put it in the focus.

I'm not an audiophile, but it seems to be a bit louder. But I'm an old guy with hearing on the way out. SYNC 3 is much quicker and nicer, but it's dumbed down even further. Hopefully, CarPlay(and android version) get here sooner than later.

It is a bit confusing...one page says 390; another says 355. I'm going to confirm with the local dealership.

I have a 2016 Titanium with the 10 speaker Sony audio system. I like the Sync 3 better than the old system. It's okay sounding, but not great. It's definitely better than the 6 speaker system in my F-150, but it's not anywhere near an aftermarket system. I can push it a little but it muddies up fast depending on the music. I wouldn't return it for the 6 speaker system, but for what it cost I probably should have gone base and put money into an aftermarket setup.

Wow...that's not good. Surprising given the stated power of the system. Is it the base end that's muddled? How much control do you have over the sound output from the various speaker types?

Just the normal. Balance and fade, bass mids treble. The bass end yes, and some edm/dance stuff. I also get some weird crosstalk from the tweeter in the rear driver side door. It seems to be in a bad location.

It's not a BAD system. It's really better than the base system, but take some music with you when you test drive so you can hear for yourself. Take a variety of stuff. I only listened to a few rock tunes, but I listen to a huge amount of music across all genres. It's always going to be factory tho.

The source could have something to do with it as well. I am using a usb stick at the moment, but I keep going back and forth with my old iPod classic. I can't decide if there is a difference.
