Side Mirror Puddle Lamps Stopped Working, LEDs

Hi, my 2012 came with the Side Mirror Puddle lamps and I recently (3 weeks ago) installed LEDs in the puddle lamps. They were very bright and looked very nice, but as of Friday night, they stopped working, both of them, left and right will not turn on. I was wondering if it may be a fuse? If so, what fuse powers these lights? Any other components from the same fuse that I can test to see if that doesnt work either so I can narrow the problem down. I looked through the owners manual and could not find the fuse for these lights.

I dont think it is the bulbs considering they both stopped working at the same time.

Either way, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here is a Picture of the Puddle Lamps with the LEDs

Try your old bulbs. If they work then you know it's the bulbs. If they don't then your back to square one.

Ya, I will try the old bulbs and see if they work. The only thing making me think it is not the bulbs is the fact that they both stopped working at the same exact time

What exactly do you have for LED used.

There are LEDs with CAN-BUS resistance. This resistance will be very hot and can cause lamp socket to melt.

You need to use LED without CAN-BUS resistance.

Maybe too cheap ???

Buy new and replace.

If problem come against, check your electrical system. There may be voltage spike.

Well here was the problem, looks like the LEDs I had in the mirrors popped, the pics show this. I went ahead and put in 2 different LEDs, hopefully these will be ok this time

The new ones look much better, a little less bright, more white, less blue and match better with the trunk LED

Your old LEDs are too big for Puddle lamps case/holder in mirror.
No wonder they are broke.
