tow points

So, I found myself in a sticky situation today. I was on NC HWY 12 on ocracoke island today and pulled onto what I thought was a hard sand shoulder so my brother could get out and take a few pics. Well, it was soft sand into which Kandy decided she wanted to bury herself up to her front bumper. After two samaritans stopped and tried to yank me out the latter of which buried himself up to the pumpkin in his '14 f150....we realized there is no good place to hook a tow rope on the MK3 focus. Have any of you run into this problem?

Edit: Nevermind.

That's unfortunate.

I agree. It is really stupid that there is absolutely NO PLACE to run a tow hook to front or back.
I am certain Ford saved millions in materials costs deleting any possible place to attach a tow hook.

Best way to get out of a stuck situation which require straps to get out is...

burn the car and make a claim and receive a new one!

Seriously... I don't understand why they (Ford) didn't think of that!
