Maybe an issue? Maybe not? Help?

Last week I installed the K&N Cold Air Intake and have been driving the hell out of my car since then. I have noticed a little different habit in the car this is the ONLY time this happens. I have the SelectShift Sports Mode so I drive in the semi-manual mode all the time. I have noticed that in 2nd gear, turning like a 90 degree turn (One road to another) and give the car gas, my tires feel like they're slipping. I have just started having this happen since I got my intake installed. I'm thinking that it's due to the car (maybe, not a mechanic) having the power more readily available than previous and that there's more torque going to the wheels. It feels like wheel hop or whatever it's called. Just trying to figure out if this is a known thing or if something is wrong. Sorry for a long post.

..... when the steering is turning (sharp) the tire contact angle is less than optimal hence the tire slipping (grossly brief explanation)

But highly unlikely of the CAI alone...

Depend mostly on torque/tire/suspension/road conditions

Okay, I'll read those links in just a second. So, this is something normal? I shouldn't be concerned?
Also, it might be that since I have my CAI I am driving hard than before. So that's probably why I'm noticing it now.

If you are running the stock ContiProContact tires...well that's normal...

They "break free" easily

Depending how fast you enter in a 90 degree, turn you might experience some torque vectoring control too (I don't recall if the ABS or TC light flash when it occurs... I don't have the time to look at the dash when I turn like this )!

I have Kenda Kenetic or something like that. I'm pretty sure they're the lowest grade. Haha. I bought it used and I can't see the dealership pouring money into a used car. It's usually pretty fast if I turn and feel it. I think what you've stated is my problem. Which just sounds like I need to be easier on the turns.
