Wheel Spacers: Please assist

Howdy all. Was hoping you fine folks could help me again.

While I realize wheel spacers are for the most part frowned upon, I was hoping to seek some more knowledge on the subject. I'm a Focus noob and have never spaced any wheels before on anything I've owned. However, I'm on a tight budget, and I want to space my rims out one inch, give or take.

I was hoping that perhaps there is indeed a safe wheel spacing kit made for our Foci. If so, please point me in the right direction.

I'm even willing to sacrifice a little lug nut leverage for cosmetics, within reason. I say this because I live in the Appalachian mountains and vehicle suspension components don't have a long life span at all, on anything, including trucks. Thus front end parts get replaced sooner than later anyway.

My plans in the future do include an eighteen inch rim upgrade that will give me the width I want. For now though I was just hoping to get by using spacers, if possible. I would appreciate any experience on this!

Thank you all once again!

EDIT: http://www.amazon.com/5x4-25-Hubcent...iglink20422-20

Will these fit any Focus? I.E. my 2013 Sedan?

I have garage line 20mm spacers and love them, they come with extended studs so they are safer.

Thank you brother for the quick reply. I appreciate it. Could you perhaps link me to the exact product you are using?

Also, what do I need to know about my Focus to make sure I get the correct spacers? Are all Foci 2012(? ) - 2015 the same when it comes to spacers?

I apologize, I'm still learning this forum and sometimes struggle trying to figure out where some threads rightly belong. I didn't see that section or I would have posted there

I think I'm going to re-post this thread in the tires and rims section. If this is frowned upon by the mods please forgive the error, I'm just trying to educate myself. I'm very new to modding!

No problem, you'll get some quick answers here & you can do more research in that section as well.

All the MkIII ('12+) models use the same 5x108 bolt pattern.

Edit - whoops, I was answering post #5 while 6 got typed.

EDIT: I love Google. According to Google, that should be .59 of an inch. So just over half. Is that correct??

.

That's about the gist of it. Just make sure you torque all lugs down to 100ft pounds and recheck after you drive it.
