question about jacking.up car

Preparing to install cfm rmm today...Ive searched and seen some various opinions so thought
I would send a quick note.....do afternarket jacks with the round head and 4
Indents crumple or mess up the stock jacking points? Also, if you jack up front end and use jackstands do you have enough clearance to do a rmm? I am big guy so ill need
space...i did some measurements...ramps might give a bit more clearance? Jack
has only 15.5" of lift...id have to dig out my ramps but they only raise up car 6"
from bottom of tires. Maybe i should wait till i can get access to a lift, lol.

I just jacked up the front end when I installed my RMM and I'm a big guy as well. Had no issues.

My jack left some dimples at the jacking points on my car. Either buy a rubber piece that fits your jack to help spread the pressure or get fancy with a small block of wood.

Also, I jack at the jacking point and put a jack stand under each control arm. I don't want to damage the underside of the car any more than I already have.

Thanks guys....my ramps actually lift wheels 8.5" off ground so better then using my jack so i had enough clearance, still tight though, only took about 20 minutes to install rmm...couldnt believe how easy....that felt crap cover helps prevent all those front end bolts from getting seized/corroded. CFM mount is
amazing...car runs smoother and has less vibes then stock, yet has no wheel hop, dct shifts
smoother, was not expecting that.
