Focus's drivers door wont shut with ease..

I have a slight issue with my 2month old ford focus.

The problem is that, the drivers door especially, wont shut with ease.. meaning that I have to put a lot more "strength" to shut it with the first time..

Sometimes it takes 2-3 times to close it for good.

One thing that I have noticed is that, when the door is the last one to close, it needs that much pressure to close. I have tried to close it (while sitting in drivers seat) with the drivers window slightly open and seems to close a lot easier.

Makes me wonder if its a cabin pressure thing..

What do you friends say?

Cabin Pressure pushing down on me, Pressing down on you, no man ask for... Sorry, I got distracted there for a moment.

Welcome to the forum, panozit, and congrats on your new ride! Have you spoken with your dealer about your doors? I can look into some additional assistance; just private message me your VIN, mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location. :)

I've had to use a rubber mallet on the top weatherstrip a few times. Should have a nice gap there. Mine has moved back a bit and needs a whack.
