new tint is too dark sadly

I'll have to take a better picture when it is not overcast, but I wanted to show off my new tint. (I will have to take it back very soon and get the front re-done because it seems as if they put too dark of a tint on the front and it is only a 33% vlt state...) But this is how it looks right now. I am really pleased with the results.

Does your local DMV have medical exemptions? You might still be able to keep that tint. My state has a 50f 35r law, but I have 30% + (factory) front and rear. All I had to do was speak to an optometrist and get a form filled out and returned to the DMV.

I told the doc that I work in the dark for a living and the light causes pain and disorientation.

Hope this helps!

Damn sweet looking tint, btw.

light has always given my problems, which is the main reason I needed this. I work night shifts, and have done so for the past three years at starbucks. But even before that I have had to use sunglasses anytime I go outside. It is a good idea, and my state, arizona, does allow it for medical reasons. I'll see about getting it approved, thanks for reminding me!

This was just a quick picture from my phone when I got home today. I'll take it out and try to get some good photos soon.

I would leave it, you'll get use to it. Plus look where your at. I'd be good w/ that & I have limo tint on my back window(not side windows) & the same as my tint band at the top of the windshield. If you get one make sure they cut it straight across at the bottom vs curved.

My tint is darker and at first I was all "How the heck am I going to deal with this?" but I've gotten used to it and just take more care in dark areas.

I used to live in Phoenix and had 10% all the way around. Never had an issue with it. I got used to it fast. Arizona is pretty lenient when it comes to window tint.

I honestly am worried about cops. I don't want to have to deal with tickets, the court house, or any of it if I don't have to. I don't have inspections for licensing where I live so that doesn't matter.

I wouldn't stress about it. Like tnygigles said, AZ is pretty lenient with tints. Cops probably have the same tint on their personal vehicles as well.

A few months before I moved I was pulled over a few times for speeding (long story, car was accurately showing MPH) and was never questioned on my tint.
