Rear windows are 15. I would say 50 is the darkest you should go. At night I still see my side mirrors well. Ps I live in California. San Diego. Cops don't give a shit unless your also speeding. I haven't had a single issue

You have it backwards man. 50% is light, the smaller the percentage the darker it is.

...thats what im saying? The number refers to the percent of light the tint allows through, vlt. 50 is lighter than 15. 50 front, 15 rear.

Personally, I think lighter the better. I can't count the number of times I've saved myself from an accident because I can see a driver doing something that is distracting them, using phones, putting on make-up, etc...

I firmly believe that if you can't see the other driver through the front windows then it is WAY too dark and the car should not be allowed to be driven until it you can.

Sidenote: Where I live it is illegal to have any tint whatsoever on the front windows. I do wish they'd change that just so I could get a little heat rejection.

I have 5% in the back and I love it. :)

The look depends on many factors, angle, light, time of day, color of car and interior. I wanted to avoid any hassle and went with 50% and some times it looks dark, sometimes you can't even tell it is tinted. I have had to remove tint due to tickets and its a pain in the ... Here is a couple shots showing the difference in appearance.

Mine is 50% for the rears and back and 35% for the fronts - legal limit in VA.

Edit: Oppps..I think I have it back wards. The 35 is for the rear and back and the 50 is for the fronts.

Well I looked at my friends Grand Prix which has 50% and 35% and the fronts look dark enough. I then looked at my windows and the guy at Zeibart is right the windows have a slight tint to them. I might do 35% on the backs though. My interior is black leather and the car is Performance Blue so it'll be dark enough I think. Thanks for the pics guys.
