Obd2 port bluetooth scanner

I have a scanner and hook it to my android with torque pro. I notice a light on it when it's plugged in. Do you guys think it draws too much current to leave it plugged in all the time? Should I just remove it when I exit the car for the night?

It is a L.E.D. So very little current draw there. I wouldn't think the Bluetooth part would be much either. You could always check key off current drain to know for sure.

No. My dad leaves his in his RAV all the time, I did the same thing on my G35. No issues ever.

Something to think about do you want to trust your 800.00 ECU plugged into a 12.00 part all the time it even says not to store in hot environment and an interior can get nice and hot why do you think the ECU is in engine bays or fender wells now. I had mine reset ECU a couple of times just puled it and remounted it fine after that. Just saying...

Well on that note I'm pulling it out. Thanks for the common sense slap.
