There have been numerous documented cases of the replacement of DCT clutches. I believe most have been replaced due to chatter, which would typically indicate either fluid leakage on the clutch surface, or "abuse" by the computer (overheating).

I don't believe I've read about one being replaced in the MTX75 yet.

The MTX-75 clutch should be good for anywhere from 100,000 to 150,000 miles
My baby has 8,800 miles in 22 months. I am retired and do not travel. So the only driving is to go to the store, or wander around town.

(My last car the clutch throwout bearing broke at 18,000 or so and WAS covered under warranty. So some manual clutch stuff IS covered. just not wear and tear on the clutch plates.

I had grinding noises and I had to get my seals/clutches replaced because they said there was oil leaking from the seals and burning up the clutches. Since then everything's been fine. I still hear a grind the higher I rev, and shift up.
Everything is fine but it seems like it isn't shifting as fast as it did when I first bought the car in December. Could it be I need clutch replaced again? What are the signs of problems?

maybe I should go test drive a new 2013 , the same car as mine, at the dealership to see if the shift speed is the same....
