history has proven that europe receives updates/facelifts for certain cars (like the focus) more frequently and/or earlier than the US market

Thank you but the context of this thread is the American market.

And the question was where does he/she get his/her "inside" (or at least hard to come by) information.

Thanks for the quick response Cory. So looks like it'll soldier on pretty much unchanged for another MY. Difinitely will need a major refresh in MY15 then, especially with an all new Corolla for '14 and a refreshed Cruze for '15.

Unlikely since the 13 already has the painted 16" alloy wheels (clear coat over the metal is a type of painted finish after all). Chances are there will be zero additional changes in 2014 now according to this section of the order guide posted.

This is a US order guide. The SE in the US came standard with the 16" alloy wheels in 2013 (unlike Canada, where it was a $350 option).

Cory: I've got to ask - is the SE getting the Parking Technology Package for 2014?

You are right, in Canada you can get the SE with the Allow wheels for $350 or get the base SE appearance Package for $600 but it only comes with the 16" alloy wheels, fog lights and rear spoiler.
