I'm surprised no one has started this either!
The black euro st/ st3 hid housings were only around $1500/ pair for empty housings + bulbs+ ballasts according to european parts even after accounting for the exchange rate and shipping. Its still expensive but its not $1500 per like the U.S. FFE complete assemblies from Tousley or maybe village ford.

lol Its still too rich for my blood personally, although I might put $1k+ into body work to fix some damage and upgrade to a unique look in the end but I'm not revealing anything just yet.

I'd rather have a working set of projectors than to cut corners and buy the absolute lowest cost part by focusing only on the cost.
