Pothole ate my wheel

I hit a pothole next to a manhole cover last night, destroyed my tire and my wheel has a chunk out of it. The local shop doesn't think it'll hold air. I'm wondering if I should buy a set a four wheels and swap over my tires or what. Anyone have a good place to look for new wheels?

If you just need one wheel/tire assembly= Why buy a set? You'll still need to buy one tire. So 4 wheels & 1 tire & swap over the other 3 tires to the new wheels? Just get a wheel/tire assembly & call it good. I really try to dodge those.

Holy hell is it just me or does this seem to be happening a lot lately on the 2012's and 13's?

It took a chunk out of your wheel and didn't mess up your tire? Check out tire rack, looks like time to upgrade to some ST wheels.

xxx/40rXX up to xxx/55rXX wheelsets. They are prone to that. Get 60 or 70 series to avoid that problem.

Because I don't know what one factory wheel would go for, but I bet I could sell my three and get a set of four aftermarket and one new tire for about the same price.

yeah, tirerack has wheels as cheap as $100 a piece, for $400-$600 I could get a decent set and maybe sell the three and recoup some cost.
