Honest Question/Poll: Has Ford Customer Service helped you?

Many of us have been contacted by the Ford account on this site and have had our cases forwarded to some type of local customer service rep (generally a Regional manager). My question is...has it helped? There is a large number of voices saying that it's useless, but there are also people saying that it is the thing that actually got their car fixed.

So let's see, once and for all, how helpful the Ford member is!

Voted. I was contacted by a CSR and everything, but since the customer service guys/gals can't force a dealer to fix an issue for you, it did me no good.

Find it weird that nobody else is voting. I know people PM the Ford rep here quite often and he/she's always telling people their cases will be escalated.

They've helped me on my wife's Focus and are in good contact when I had that rock in my brake caliper that was squealing. Checked up on me with the tow and contacted my service dept at my dealer to get my car in first. Great people.

They helped me get a TSB done that didn't directly relate to my car, but I was experiencing the issues covered by it.

As stated before, there is only so much that the Ford reps here can do, but I feel they are a valuable resource for our community.

I only look for new posts every so often. I spend a lot of time just refreshing my CP and responding to my subscribed threads. Maybe you should pop into some of the more popular Mk3 threads and mention your poll?

Eh no thanks. Not a fan of promoting threads in other threads. May even be against the board rules, but either way I don't feel comfortable doing that stuff.

I've not had to contact CS, and I hope not to, but the way the dealer talked about how their grading system is, and their bonus is rated, it sounded like they would do anything to keep their rating high.

Why can't I vote in the thread? Am I to new?
