I'm not a huge fan of billet grills but this one isnt that bad, I kinda like it. I am working with a guy at a machine shop about making a prototype full replacement in a honeycomb mesh. Lets see where that leads us.

The only thing I don't like about it is how it leaves the oval gap in the hood empty where the original Ford emblem was. You can see it in Chaos' pics. It still looks great and isn't that big of a flaw in design, but not perfect.

To be honest, it looks really tacky to me. It's something I would expect on a Pt Cruiser, along with porthole stick-ons, cartoon flames, very large chrome rims, and fake chrome trim on every imaginable crevice.
I actually saw the same set up recently on ebay, only it was black. Actually looked pretty good to me.

I really like the look of the black billet grille...

i'd have to see it on this car, but I haven't really found a car yet I like billet style grills on.

in hind site, it isn't that bad on our models, I think due to the large amount of billet actually. I think it bugs me when there are like just 3 simple rows of billet grill in a tiny area in place of mesh or honey comb or whatever the factory provides. I wouldn't do it necessarily, but not bad honestly.

Also, that PT looks like it is mimicking an old Beetle with all that jazz. Not sure how many ways that car fails but, I did have a pretty epic Bug in Forza Horizon which ran me a top 200 time in the VW race. Hint: rear wheel drive . . .
